Batts Project – Downstairs Renovation, Long Beach, California
This full downstairs renovation redefined the living room and kitchen with warmth, intention, and elevated functionality. The client had difficulty pinpointing her design direction, so we anchored the space in natural, organic elements. Terracotta floors, a handcrafted zellige tile backsplash, and a balanced mix of modern flat-panel and clean-lined shaker cabinetry brought texture, contrast, and harmony to the home.

The expansive kitchen was built for both performance and style—featuring dual cooktops (gas and induction), two sinks, built-in coffee machines, and integrated under-cabinet lighting throughout. We also reimagined the entryway by opening the space beneath the stairs, adding a custom built-in bench with hidden storage and hanging space. The result is a home that feels cohesive, grounded, and effortlessly livable.
